In 1975, Michele Mouton won the 2.0L class at the brutally difficult 24 hours of Le Mans. This was only the beginning of a long career for one of the most decorated woman drivers in history.
She had wins in the late 70's in WRC but her big shot came when Audi Sport came calling in 1981. She was to drive an Audi Quattro and eventually the monstrously powerfully and unruly Audi Quattro S1 which we've chosen to spotlight on this shirt.
She would go on the finish a very close second in the WRC Championship to Walter Rohrl, considered the best in his era. In 1985 Michele would win The Pikes Peak International Hillclimb outright piloting the 600 hp Audi Sport Quattro.
She wasn't just a great woman driver, she was a great DRIVER and competitor. Michele kicked down doors for the women drivers who followed. F1 Champion Niki Lauda would describe her as "superwoman". Well said Niki, well said.
This t-shirt is comfortable, soft, lightweight, and form-fitting. It's an ideal staple for any wardrobe!
